I highly disagree. Just because a track is commercial does not mean it's cheese. Trance music is considered underground (roughly not popular) here in the states. For instance, take a track like Solarcoaster by Solar Stone gets picked up on the radio (by some miracle) and is accepted on a grand scale by the general public. Suddenly the track picks up steam and becomes popular, mainstream, or, in your case, commercial. Whatever the case, we are talking about the same track. It simply changed status, but it doesn't mean that all commercial equals cheese.

I've never seen the fuss about the Matt Darey Mix of "Wizards Of The Sonic" myself. The Red Jerry 95 Mix is much better in my books.

my definition of cheese

when everyone (and by everyone i mean none-tranceaddicts) likes a song its cheese.

i mean, invite a friend who dont listens to trance and play him some tunes, if he likes a tune then its cheese, if he dont likes a tune then probably its quality trance.
it takes a while to understand trance if you're a n00b/irrelative.

cheese is what the irrelative masses like (for me)

edit: NP: Ian van Dahl - Castles In The Sky (Wippenberg remix) - [00:04m of 05:49m/192Kbps/44KHz/7,99 Mb]
yes i like it

Though I cringe to say it, the best definition of cheese probably comes from Ishkur: A production that's trying to be something it's not. This leaves a lot of room for ambiguity, but cheese is a rather ambiguous term.
