But it took Americans 3 years to finally land in Europe! They were too busily crushing the isolated Japanese in the Pacific!
Sure it wasn't "liberation". Pardon me for that mistake. Lets say Soviets had plans for Europe.
And Germans did not storm through MOST OF RUSSIA. They actually didnt even invade A HALF of a part of European Russia before Ural mountains (where Europe ends). Most of Russia is actually made up of Siberia, and at the time of Soviet Union also Central Asia and Caucasus.

The history and politics stuff that you read about in books is not always true and accurate. Don't forget that I am anti-communism and anti-capitalist. I dont like governments in general.
