i have always been against 1 issue parties. so in this case for me personally its not a double standard. I have never waivered on my position when it comes to a 1 issue seperatist party. A vote for them IS a waste. A vote for the NDP is not.

And if corruption and scandel happens and is rampant and not dealt with in a good way like the case of the Liberals, then i will be calling for harper to step down as well. But they will have to do a lot of wrong to even hold a candle to what the liberals have accomplished.

You and the other liberals keep saying this but it simply isn't true. No Conservative party in the past has performed even remotely so poorly or been involved in as many scandals as the Chretien/Martin Liberals. Not even any previous Liberal government has been that bad - Trudeau government messed things up plenty but at least that was out of idealism and not entitlement.

Yes, it's true that it's not even the same party and that it was over a decade ago. Regardless, who cares? Mulroney screwed up a few things but he also did a lot of positive things (like NAFTA) to clean up the mess that Trudeau made. And yes, he introduced the GST, but that was only to replace a higher, more complicated tax that happened to be less visible.
