pre-party: 10/10 I had soo much fun chilling with all of ya @ Scotland Yard! Mikey, you're crazy mofo! please dont do it again! it's not safe!

I had cinnamon in my ears this morning. Holy Fuck!

GUV: 3/10 My worst clubbing experience EVER! Even Halloween was better. Overpacked and hot. The crowd was disgusting! Never ever have I seen so many fucked up people. I was scared. GOD! The music was... hm... I expected more from the Man. I expected something really HARD. and yes, I hate long buildups and slowdowns! HATE IT! Plus he was terrible @ mixing during the first hour. He skipped at least 4 times. booo.

TOTA's: the only reason I didnt leave early was... you guys! Those battles were SICK! I was crying because I didnt feel the music and couldnt dance it up properly! sorry Andrea, your partner in crime sucked last night.

It was nice to meet so many new people! No shout outs this time. There were toooooo many of you lol. But you all rock! Cant wait to see ya all @ US9. Promise you more fireworks lol.

cheers

Cam, post that video, and THANK YOU FOR A RIDE!

What a great night! Everything kicked off at the scotland yard for the pre-party, where i managaed to drop a chunk of change at the bar (note to self, pre-drink before going to the Pre-drink party.) Glad to meet a bunch of local TA's. It's great being able to communicate without shouting..

Here's another look at Sasha's Fireworks Display

Despite the usual Guv Low points with the heat and crowding, everyone was having a great time.. I manged to score an outside dancing spot in the smoke area, absolutely refeshing (however probably led to my back cramping up). Big ups goes out to the big white guy working security in the smoking area, feeding me smokes all night while I hung out in the cool air blocking the door outside. muhahah pricelss, Which led me to meeting up with some lovely ladies from Niagara Falls..

Johan set was rocking in parts and somewhat slow in others, really couldn't keep up my energy (I burned it all up on the stage too early in the night), but overall a good preformance. Thanks spitty for guilting me back onto the floor for one last hoorah, i needed a push.. muhaha...

and a couple of shots of the floor show

and lastly some final shots

Overall Rating for the Night 9/10
Musical Rating 7/10
TA Rating 100/10

Looking forward to Partying it up with everybody next weekend at Ultra Spin 9. Picotto will keep me on the floor for his entire set. w0000t!

ok- the review

Big up to Deep Groove- congrats on busting your Guv cherry. You guys did great- crowd was eating it up.

Johan was 'supposed' to go on at 2, but I noticed him in there at 1:40-45 on the decks. For the 1st time he entered w/a 'wimper' almost- not the usual "Here I am f*ckers!!!!" entrance he always starts with. There was no pause between Deep Groove's set and his set, and he started off with some prog trance stuff. But 15-20 mins in, he started dropping the bombs. Popped into the Gallery for 15 mins of Addy, then back to the Guv.

So excited to hear "Saltwater"!!! Johan ended his set really differently this time too- going out w/2 really slow, stand around songs, said his thanks to the crowd, but then picked things up again when he dropped "Mr. Brightside" as the final song. Barry almost made me wanna kill myself near the end of his set when he told me Johan played "Beauty of Silence" (which I was worried was dropped when I was in the Gallery, cuz that was the only time I was gone from the room). Later found out that wasn't true from Johan himself (phew!). Spent 20 mins catchin up w/Johan in the booth after the set.

Brad Goldfinger- notable tunes: Rockwell- "Somebody's watching me" & Delirium "Silence" (Tiesto mix).

Very nice TA turnout indeed! Nice hangin out w/all the TA's, esp the ones who havent been out in a while.
