well I think the reason most people who heard this album love it is because most other stuff released nowadays is so crap.
That's pretty much what i believe is the most reasonable answer. I don't like most of the new trance released today but the DB tracks i've heard from the album so far sound pretty damn good to me.
As what have been said, welcome Oliver and hope you enjoy your stay here in the mental institute for the trance(and whatever else electronic genre)heads.
You can count me in as a long time fan too, been following your musical journey ever since the early 90s. *Feels like a teen groupie now*

i feel like a schoolgirl, weak at the knees, damp in other places. People at times get a lot of star worship, but there are very few who really deserve it. For everything you've done for trance, techno & the lush beautiful film-scapes, thanks man, we all appreciate it

So Mr Lieb, I take it that you [as with many of the iPool bastards] have listened to the Synthology album. How about a little review... any particular fav. tracks?

This release was very well put together. Riki Smith has really outdone himself and I think it is highly unlikely that anyone will release an album this year that will surpass this one, Synthology is pure class. My personal favorite productions were Tronika and Cyan and Casca. I am very happy to see that there are young producers out here who are not afraid to take a different approach when it comes to putting together a trance release. I would highly recommend purchasing Synthology because of the quality tracks and it is trance to the highest level. Synthology should surely become a future classic.
And thank you Ian, Rebel9, zoric, grimreaper and the rest of you for the very kind words and I was moved by the genuine respect and love that you guys have for EDM. I am honored to be part of this board and even though I am getting old, it's people like you that keep me young in heart and spirit.
