ok, let's get rational now. Areon has made a good point, so let's not exagerate what he means of blow it out of proportion. He was going in the right direction. There are key groups that know and underdstand... however those aren't the ones calling the shots.

Leaders should represent the majority and not like they currently do... represent the ones that scream the loudest... aka the extremists. Once leaders start going with the majorities, rather than the loudest ones, that's when there will truly be some balance in this world.

It is unfortunate that in the arab world, it's the loudest that get what they want, and it's the loudest that we should fear, no matter what side you are on.

THis thread could have been a very good discussion, were it not so full of misinformed fanatics, screaming their beliefs and rationality. It is quite insane to belittle the opinions and views of those few that have expressed it here. These few are individuals who have first hand understanding of the issues at hand. They all have varying opinions and thoughts, and it is the inclusive consideration of all of these that allows one to have a more complete picture. This thread has been a shining example of ignorance, and the sad part is that those screaming against ignorance are so convincingly blind of their own. I won't express my own feelings as to the subject matter, as I feel it won't get anywhere, and there is nary few people in this thread who would be able to discuss it in a civilised and well thought out manner. Suffice it to say that this thread really should be closed, lest it be filled up with 8 more pages of childish ranting. Yes, this is a rant too.
