Still I would not pay as much as they charge on a regular night to see resident DJs that don't even impress me, in a club that has no vibe unless the right people are there.

Well some of their resident DJs play some damn good tracks, but its a matter of opinion. I think the vibe is somewhat unique there, and you'll always find TAs present.

Although with a somewhat busy schedule, I typically only go there for special events.

It seems that the perception of Toronto "becoming" ghetto has increased because of the increase in thuggery in the downtown area. This however has little effect on statistics as a whole. A few more incidents in the downtown area may seem signficant because it is a destination for everyone, but when taking into account the city as a whole, it really doesn't affect the numbers- just the nightlife.
I might add Montreal has seen its fair share of violence so far this year. Someone was shot and killed inside the Roxy Blu club I think on Montagne. Three people were shot on St Laurent- right in the middle of club land- last weekend. Someone was stabbed critically on St Catherine and De La Montagne near Club 1234 two weeks ago. There was an incident at Aria also I believe earlier this year. No city is immune to this problem. There are plenty of thugs, fighting, and bad behavior on Saint Catherine St at 3 am.

Here are some crime reports from Washington DC for your reading please. Pick a district and enjoy.

Well to each their own....I think the lighting and sound is amazing there, but I would just rather pay to go somewhere else.

Toronto clubs may have a ghetto side to them, but it is nothing compared to a place like Windsor.
As much as I love my hometown it has resorted to having an entire downtown area that caters to the 19-21 year old american crowd.

Because of that, all the bars are full of teenagers who can't hold their booze, come over have no respect fot the country, its citizens, or its laws.
There are fights and problems 10 fold of what there is here.

There may be some problems here, but it is good compared to some places.

id say thats more of a university town type problem then typical thuggery that youll experience at clubs in Toronto.

Its really sad the way things have gone and its sad to hear its sweeping across some of Europe
