+1 You know that there are some in Jersey, right? I know that one opened in Princeton when I was still in college. My friend said the cashier looked at him weird when he walked in on opening day and already had Wegman's shopper discount card.

I need a good Sangria recipe. I just used apples, pears & grapes + those huge cheap Sangria jugs. Isn't there some other way to make it, that takes about a week?
@ WORK ... we made a sangria which was preatty tasty

u figure out the proportions i would only make giat batches.

5 - 1 liter bottles of Citra red/white wine. your choicef
3- 1 liter bottles of Montezuma triple sec
3- 750ml bottles of DeKuyper peach schnapps.

then when we would serve it, we would add a splash of sprite.

I have a really great pom drink if you'd like

2 cups orange juice
1 cup sprite
1 cup pom
as much Gin as you'd like (bomaby/tanq works)
ice

Lovely summer outdoor drink! Then again, I'm a huge fan of Gin so lol, some think otherwise.

With that many mixers (and knowing how strong Pom tastes), I hope you're using an entire bottle of gin.

i think you'll really like this website:

http://corkd.com/

The basic gist of Cork’d is this: after painlessly creating a free account, you’re able to keep track of wines you’ve tried in your Wine Jounal. You can rate, review and tag wines (more on that below), and these “tasting notes” end up attatched as comments to each wine in our database. You can also build a Shopping List of wines you’d like to buy (think of this like you would a Netflix queue), and a Wine Cellar for wines that you own. Keeping track of what your friends are tasting is as easy as adding them as a Drinking Buddy. You can also recommend wines to your buddies after you’ve rated and reviewed a bottle.

have fun

just got back from a business trip to Capetown on the weekend, and since a colleague was visiting i took them to my favourite vineyards, starting at simonsig. Not the 98 pinotage, but the 2001 redhill pinotage, and still have a bottle of their merindol syrah. also brought back delheim pinotage, saxenburg shiraz, and some 1995 nederberg auction wines.
Their export prices are only marginally cheaper than local wines in Aus, but aged wines, especially at the cellars, are a fraction of the prices of things here. my favourite wines would still be the saxenburg reds.
Other notables are the marlborough savignon blancs from NZ.

I'm a big fan of white wine, I'm really fond of Pinot Grigio, good one I've had was Bella Serra...not an expensive wine. The taste is soft & not sweet, which I like because I don't like sweet wines.
I'm still pretty newbie to it though. I just recently got into trying different types so I'm not familiar with expensive brands. Out of the "types" I've tried, I'd say the least favorite so far is Chardonnay.

I don't like red wine at all.

i love bella serra pinot grigio.

i think i just got into reds first because that's what my parents drank a lot. my dad would always let me drink some when i was younger. i went on vacation to cali with him one summer and we drove up the coast to yosemite and stopped at a lot of small towns with wineries and he always bought these cool bottles of lighter, fruity red wines.
