i was inspired by how hard the US fought today.
i think i'm done following the WC... we'll see i feel when argentina's next game comes around.
this team/game reminds me of the CIV and holland game. the US/CIV had both, inexperience, and the ref against them. i saw the US blow some great opportunities to at least tie the game, if not take it because of poor decisions. not to mention some bad passing... all on top of the ref'ing.
i think what upsets me the most about this loss is the fact that my dream of football being upfront, and on the mind of every man, woman, and child in this country has been shattered for the time being.
after we re-organize our coaching/team, we STILL have to work a million times harder to put this sport in our national concious. i think once the US truley becomes a futbol nation, we're really gonna start rocking it in the WC. we really need more support in this area... it's not just about the fans, but the more people that are into the game, the larger the pool of talent becomes. the more chances we have of putting our very best athletes in the field to represent us.

+1 well said.
Its funny how everyone around the world who actually know and follows the sport without any bias do agree with the problem with the refs.
Its those who are blinded with the anti-american sentiment who fail to see this and just jump on the anti-american team bandwagon.
