I agree with Paulie I think the Aussies got hurt with their suspensions and Viduka Ive never been a fan of.

I think Aussie football is on the up though and next time around they will make their mark on the Cup even more so. Aussies are great athletes so if they get behind football they could be dangerous

yes aussie football is going up, but not enough to reach the QF, let's be honest here they're not among the football elite

not yet but they will be Im sure after 2012 the 2016 World Cup will go to the Aussies which Im praying for. They deserve it more than any other rising football nation. thats very true. The fan support for the less elite nations like korea and australia has been phenomenal while fans of the bigger countries dont seem to get behind their team and you hear a lot of booing when the team hasnt scored by the end of the first half.
