Hmmm, I kind of agree with you...

It does suck when you open up the paper to read about some number of people were killed, the war in some place, etc. And you're like "wow, that made my morning..."...haha...

I guess what I was trying to get at in the post you quoted was that the newspapers, magazines, and televsion stations should find a balance, and somewhat prioritize the information (and I guess at times this prioritization can be subjective...)

But yeah, reading stuff about celebrities does make my day...
