Your answer is partially correct. The location of the comma depends on intent. If Jamie meant to say the subject is true to form of what one would expect a woman of deminished intellegence to be then "typical stupid chick" is fine, however, if the intent was that "typical" was to be used as an adjective meaning ordinary independent of the adjective "stupid" then you are correct. Knowing Jamie as I do I believe her intent was likely to stress that Squirrelly is exactly what she would expect a stupid chick to be thus I believe the first comma should have simply been omitted.
