I loved Tiesto's set at Bang. We were in front of him the majority of his set and then we were backstage on the side of him. If you saw how much he was into his set and the fans you wouldn't say that he's lost anything. I couldn't stop smiling because he couldn't stop looking so happy. I love it when he's like that. Best set I've ever heard from him? No. Great interaction and good time overall? Definitely
Duran Duran kicked ass, but Bang being behind schedule on the live stage and starting them late sucked. For me Duran Duran was the main headliner and it was just ridiculous how far behind everything was. I could have went without hearing Modest Mouse. They had no energy whatsoever.
We had a good time and I'm glad we went early so that we could catch Edgar, Markus and everyone else.

I wish someone got a recording of Tom De Neef however. That was the best suprise of the evening for me. What an awesome, energetic set.
Jan de Vos dropping Gamemaster at the end of the night was quite a suprise as well. Although, hardly the best set I've seen from 4 strings it was pretty good for the 1 hour that he got.
The Hype MC that was on the stage with Jan however, pissed me off. The guy wouldn't stop flappin' his gums for one second. He even talked during the climax of Delerium - Silence and during the build up to Gamemaster. Totally killed the vibe for me, of course that whistle bitch was in the crowd as well just to twist the dagger of annoyance.

This was the first music festival in Miami I've gone to, I really enjoyed all the different house/trance artists.
I don't really understand the point of 100 people blowing whistles at the same time during the sets though. Do they do that because they're on crack/acid, or because it's supposed to 'add' to the music? I almost elbowed some kid in the face because he was blowing one of those things right in my ear. Was just wondering if this is some sort of tradition at events like this, can somebody fill me in?
Otherwise a great experience and I'm looking forward to Ultra.. anybody else have pictures to post from Bang?

Right you are AMBS
To prove that point, do you know Tiesto has his own line of Sneakers with Reebok. lol
And I think the people who bring the whistle are confusing a music festival with a soccer game or something.
