not to metnion, our war and intervention there set off a chaos and a series of events that caused 100s of thousands more Iraqis to die because of all the confusion and mess it is there.... that country, and the tri-radical-religion situation they're in NEEDED an iron fist to keep it all together... and maybe those 200 thousand that he killed in his decades of power helped stay away from the crisis and chaos and the current situation we see now (where at the very least, 100 thousand have been killed in just a few years).... how about that?

See thats the only way it works, the US trying to be nice and diplomatic wont work and they arent understanding this. On the other hand, if the US were to go in there and try to fix shit with an iron fist, than all the countries around the world would consider it harsh and unneccessary and would consider it no different from what Saddam was doing.

Its just one of those areas where you just cant do much to help them unless they are willing to help themselves, which doesnt seem to be the case.
