Yes of course they will accept it. But that doesn't mean they are hypocritical. It means that whatever you do with a shitty trance if you slap a namebrand on it (even if it's a genre that isn't trance) it gains popularity. That's the irony of popular artists/producers. They can do whatever they want and it's more often than not "cool" in comparison to some unknown artist that does the same thing. Well you started off by criticizing Timbaland for "stealing" - I think that was the problem. If you wanted to make a comment about the dance elements in a hip hop track, you should have opened that up to discussion instead, and incorporated other tracks as well. Instead it kind of came off as a crusade to accuse Timbaland of violating artistic integrity by stealing some elements from a genre - which, as has been pointed out, isn't stealing at all, but rather musical evolution.

Yeah that was my fault for acting like an ass. I didn't mean to say he stole in the sense the everything is incorporated into other tracks. I just thought it was a bad hip-hop track that ripped off trance (not literally, but sounded like). I'll feel weird if I close this thread. I'm getting a kick out of the flaming. =) Do you think it'll just float down to page two if I just stop responding, or are more retard males going to read the first page and keep flaming my gay ass?
