hmm.
well. yeah, it's not exactly great music. but the funny thing is, if you tweak the kick & bass slightly, you've got a perfectly adequate hard house track. stuff like that has been coming out for years in the ukhh/ukht scenes... cheesy, mindless, & not giving a fuck about anything besides giving clubbers something to bosh to.
this makes me think. what is it about tyas that makes him so much more popular than the likes of technikal, guyver, k90, nick rowland or tonnes of other hard dance producers, when his music is basically the same only played on slightly different synth presets? and why do tyas fans turn a blind eye to the aforementioned?
i guess push come to shove, it's not really tyas i have issues with.. but more the muppets in the trance scene that continue to big him up when he really belongs in a dank dingy underground hard trance club somewhere in london. then again, those who continue to view his stuff as accurately representative of trance (yes, several have posted in this thread) are equally as bad. be ashamed
