some quick cuts and bassline changes can work well for some tracks and specific points in a mix, on the other hand, i have to agree with you that he really overdoes it on this cd, cutting from one track to the next, and rarely takes his time to eq and make a smooth transition. plus the tracklist is meh....so i would give this a C+

This isn't mixed cutting quickly, it's half-assed. It's like he doesn't give a shit anymore. As you can judge from other reviews, why should he? Newbs will suck his cock anyway!

I've always preferred Armin's track selection over Tiestos...just an opinion.

Not here to defend Armin, but regarding him mixing the trax on this comp quickly, he literally
almost always makes really quick transitions in lie sets.
Studio mixes or ASOT his transitions are much slower and subtle.

2 cents

I can't believe the crap that I just listened to from a professional dj. This mix was garbage. There might be some good tracks on this cd but any vibe or energy that he atleast tries to create is completely lost in the next transition. Complete and utter crap that never should have hit the shelves.

Just listen to it in the car as background music at low volume without really paying attention. Then you'll like it.
