Sasha Essential Mix Broadcasted on Saturday 25th November, 1995

1.Phoenix - "Rise Up" (Solid Silver)
2.Alcatraz - "Giv Me Your Love" (Yoshitoshi)
3.Angel Moraes - "Heaven Knows" (EBU)
4.Simply Red - "Remembering The First Time" (East West)
5.Sasha & BT - "Oat" (acetate)
6.Castle Trancelot - "Resonance" (acetate)
7.Jayn - "untitled" (VC)

It's depressing listening to this set, and then listening to any liveset he's done over the past two years and realizing how boring he's really become

Little bit of a problem right there.

Its simply that some people know and understand when he is capable of better and when he is in top form.

Oh I did? How's that?

It seems to me like you're saying that some people here are taking themselves and their dedication to the scene (and certain DJs) too seriously, and that they need to relax a bit. This whole social diagnosis was extrapolated from the fact that a few people didn't particularly enjoy Sasha's EM.

So, I ask ... who are you to judge people, their tastes, and their dedication to / interest in a DJ? What makes your criticism of music more valid than theirs?

You missed the irony of his post, which was that, he in fact, had missed the point.

Honestly, I'm tired of seeing you reminisce about the past in every thread you post relating to music. Are you a DJ? What do you spin? I agree, those tunes are fucking epic, and they will always be loved, but stuff like that is hardly being produced now. What do you want a DJ who rocked the 90's to do? Spin those tracks in every fucking gig? The music hasn't got shittier, you're just stuck in the past. Move the fuck on.
