My comment was a general one at best. The absolute certainty is that each offspring will be taught, initially, to beleive in a certain thing... whether it's right or wrong is beside the point. The religion they hold on to doesn't matter, it's the fact that a greater being is the only creator is. The seeds are planted in the mind at an early age. Like you, others are told what to beleive in, be it Christianity, Muslim or other. The odds the you will completely embrace another religion, or disbelieve in "God" is extremely thin... this goes for other people too. In a sense a child is forced simply because (generally speaking of course) they are not given any other options. The majority will hold true to that belief, even if to some degree, till they die. If you can generalize then you would have to agree that when you do the numbers, most will not break away from those beliefs. This is why religion and the belief of some "God" is factually accepted by the majority of the world. Darwin helped, amongst others, to bring about other possibilities based on growing evidence that perhaps not all is as we were told.

As I said before, the evidence is so overwhelming to support evolution that it no longer can be just referred to as theory. In the roughly 4.5 billion years our planet has been around, it's said that it has been smashed apart by cataclysmic collisions as to seemingly wipe out all existing life at the time. Fortunately life is so tenacious, even when stacked against such odds, surviving deep underground as bacteria or other, it somehow arises once again to evolve into higher forms of life to repopulate. One day we may come to the realization that the formation of life is so easy that, in one form or another, the universe is actually infested with it.

honestly though, you cannot mix science and religion. Its best to leave the two far appart. Relgion is based on beleif while science is based on factual empircal evidence.

You will always lose an argument to a creationist as in the end it comes down to belief. How do you prove belief? you cannot.. you just do or don't.
