i stand by what i say. these days it really has a lot to do with how you self promote yourself, whether or not you have had a track signed or played by so and so, how "relevant" your sound is, what services are exchanged, and less about creativity or content. you can say "oh no not matt he's such a nice guy we know him we've partied together" all you want.
