Pointless daring to suggest LP was a little greedy, theres always some little gimp who was sorted a VIP wrist band from the man himself once who's going to defend him whatever he does. Without LP Miami wouldn't have a dance scene, blah blah fucking blah. Yeah, he worked wonders for the scene bitching about the competitions licenses to the city when they dared get in big names
Good luck to him making a fortune, I don;t blame him for that either, but to declare him some kind of clubland messiah is more than a little gay don't you think? |
Gimp? well crafted douche clown. i used to be one of you naive lollipop sucking jackasses who thought that these clubs existed just to promote the scene and spread the love of EDM, buts its a business and a tough one at that..
anyways what some of you guys dont get is that LP has a formula that works, why is he going to veer off from that winning formula? if it aint broke dont fix it. i know he does basically bring in the same djs over the course of the year every year but he does gradually bring in new talent, Eric Prydz and David Guetta(although i hate this guy) are guys he brought in last year to the Space family. and although these guys werent exactly up and coming fresh talent they were some new faces. Hell he brought in SVD, tried out Glaude(that tanked miserbably). Some of you guys here cant see the forrest for the trees.
Melly, Space isnt open on thursdays outside of WMC and holidays. and he opens up on Friday once and a blue moon, his bread and butter is saturday. he has a extremely faithful following that has a certain taste, and he cant afford to take too many chances on his only money night. miami isnt nyc. cielo isnt the same type of venue as space. and another thing do guys think there was a chance that PVD himself wanted to do both clubs? its a possibility...
also who declared him a club messiah? my point is that he is a very prominant and influential figure in the miami scene for better or for worse. is he a 100% positive figure always? hell no. but the guy has brought in more talent from across the globe and throws some of the best parties every year in miami clubland. should we be sucking his kneecaps? no, but a little respect is deserved.
