Maybe that CD got wet?

He's dropped Obsession 4-5 times in the past 12 months.
Thats acceptable.. still whoring out Adagio & Lethal isnt - but they're staple "for the crowd" tracks cos most people are asleep until they hear a familiar melody coming in.

Obsession got dropped in Poland when I was there in '07; and the place went dead, the majority probably didn't even realise it was a Tiesto track, yet when Lethal was dropped there wasn't a dry eye in the place, hands in the air wow moment.

Its his entourage and management team that makes him what he is. He was involved with the right/smart people back when trance was going off, and also right place at the right time. His presence being a pretty tall guy as far as DJ's go, and being in shape or slim, dressing hip that helps as well. Image is everything in this world.

the more recent gigs in california tiesto has been running a "regular" DJ set just playing popular trance and prog songs like all the way, 6am, move for me, and the rest. dont think any of his sets have even consisted in more than 2 of his songs this year, which is surprising because americans are probably more lenient with him playing overplayed songs than almost anyone else.
