i seriously want to go to this event, however all of my friends who might even be remotely interested in going to this are fence sitting and most likely not going.

that's an awful reason not to go. if i want to go to something i just freaking go...i'm coming from nyc alone (although i am meeting someone in canada) but i've gone to plenty of stuff by myself in the past couple years and just ended up meeting people while i was there. maybe its because i'm a girl but i always meet people
