It's getting old. If it happens it will be one of the saddest days in US history on par with 9-11.
Look at all the Charismatic leaders of the past and see where they are today... Martin Luther King or JFK as 2 for example.
Not to mention the threats that have already been made against him and people arrested for it.
I think it is a very valid point to discuss and a real threat to his future.

My thoughts exactly.
The world is watching this election, and they're entitled to an opinion - particularly after the U.S. single handedly brought the global financial system to its knees in the last several months.
yup, they are watching! When I was in Holland this week, EVERYONE asked me who I was voting for. I teased a few with a "mcCain" response. It was fun to see their anger until I told them my REAL answer.
PS: AWESOME to win Ohio.....KEY state!

everyone in the world thinks that obama is the right choice but we don't have to live with the consequences of making a bad choice. we also don't have the day to day circumstances that they live with down there. we also don't know all the ads and all the craziness that goes on.
or he could be condescending and if that's true then to hell with him! lol.
Pardon my literal interpretation I suppose but conjecture seems to suggest any opinion is completely uninformed, when I'd beg the contrary for anyone with half a brain posting about the American election. And to be fair, RJ is watching from the outside as well.
Everyone in the world does not think Obama is the 'right' choice. They simply think Obama is the 'better' choice rather than adding 4 more years of Republican mess after 8 years of Bush. Change indeed. The ads and 'craziness' that goes on down there is well documented online for anyone who posits an opinion that is more than 'conjecture'. This election meant a hell of a lot for more than just America, and it's naive and almost bitter to suggest the marginal populations are the "know-nots."

Wow! Way to jump to conclusions (read words before reading between the lines).
Conjecture is much easier when one doesn't actually have the responsibility of participating in the process.

North Dakota's already gone red.
Still a battle-ground state:
Usually a reliable Republican stronghold, North Dakota is one of the latest "red" states to become a competitive presidential battleground. Bush carried the state with 61 percent in 2000 and 63 percent in 2004. Voters have consistently elected Democrats to the U.S. Senate and House, but the last Democrat to carry the state in a presidential race was Lyndon Johnson in 1964. Several polls have shown a surprisingly close race, with Obama either tied with McCain or slightly ahead. Obama has also launched a late TV ad campaign here in the hopes of scoring an embarrassing upset on GOP turf.
