Well the way I see it is, why should a first date be any different than the first time you meet/hang out with any other person? Be chill, be real, keep it simple, be polite. No need for anything contrived or elaborate. I dunno...I've never gone on a date in the sense that we're talking about here, but that's how I'd approach the situation. There's really no formula for clicking with someone; you either do or you don't.

Well I don't know if you had your date yet or not (I didn't bother reading all the replies), but remember that above all girls want to have fun! So if she has a good time ith you I'm sure you'll secure a 2nd date, unless there is something about you that really bothers her.
