So after having dt (cryophonik) twist my arm I decided to give this remix business a go. well, really he didnt twist my arm because I loved the original so much. Almost done with my track so Steven you will have it soon.
Here's my second entry for the remix competition (Probably better than my first progressive house remix entry because this is tranceaddicts, not progressivehouseaddicts... lol.)This is actually my first real attempt at producing Trance so feedback would be awesome.
as far as your mix goes I think the overall idea is quite nice. Your low end seems quite muddy imo though. You might want to look into eqing your sounds a little more so they dont overlap in the same frequencies so much. My best advice is to try to give your sounds some room to breath in the mix for better clarity....esp in the low frequencies. Hope this helps
yea I have it. sorry i don't like to open the emails unless im on my studio PC where im harvesting these remixes so the emails stick out as un-read so I don't miss them...well i can't reply when I do that
(Feel free to submit WAVs at -6 dB & 320k mp3's (A WAV submission will mean if you are chosen as a winner that you do not have to send me anything else)

Better get your remixes in...
Look for feedback in between July 20th and July 24th for all remix submissions (I will either email it to you or send it via tranceaddict. I'm very....honest/harsh....but 50% of what I say is just personal opinion, and I'm usually wrong so do call me an idiot if I give you some whack feedback )
I will contact the winners July 20th notifying you that you won and how we need the track. I've recently brought aboard a professional master engineer so it's gotta be a little more complex than a simple -6 db mix down.

I was just fooling around for a couple hours and i came up with this. its obviously not done but an idea. didn't do anything fancy with the vocals yet and im not sure if i'd have it done by comp deadline but check it out
Stephen is listening to the tracks this week and he's making the decision. I left it in his hands because he obviously knows the industry/market better than I do! He mentioned in an earlier post that he will be listening and providing comments through the 24th, so you should hear something within a few days if you haven't already.
