Haha, I adore you Theresa, but I just can't help it :p

Ok, this may seem like a stupid question... but with the numerous car crashes, I have pondered this and wonder if anyone knows.

In the event of a car crash...
Why aren't there ejection seats in a car?
Why can't the roof open and let people spring out?

I mean, if your car is about to run off a cliff, chances are, you're going to die. So you may as well take the chance and eject... you're likely to have more survivors. Right?

It just makes sense to me... if the car is on its way down, have an emergency button where the roof comes off and ejection seats are activated. Everyone jumps out as fast as they can and hopes for the best. It could even have an extra springboard on the ejectable roof you could use to jump in case you're late for a meeting and you happen to be too lazy to use the elevator. Kind of like this:

Then you should not press the red button!

Come to think of it, the presence of this button in the driver's panel would make sex in the car even more exciting... "OMG, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm - THOOMP - flyiiiiiiinggg!!!!"

What if the PLANE had a parachute?

Check out Cirrus.

Hell, why not have these in airplanes too? I mean fighter jets have ejection seats, so why not passenger planes?

Your response was a logical one though.

"I enjoy getting raped, so the birds must too"

What.

Lol, Hale and Pace. I used to like the repeated skit they did, called "Style Wankers"
