so it's just more talk...as predicted. why would anyone here pay for your work when there is an endless supply of high quality music
a few mouse clicks away for free or for a very low cost. |
Im not trying to sell you or make you purchase my music thats what other people are doing im trying to do something else
I agree there is a endless supply of music at low cost or free

all I'm saying is perhaps you'd be taken seriously here if you actually provide more example of your 'pioneering' work instead of just replying to pretty much every post about you with what amounts to "trust me" |
To the best of my knowledge no one is trying to do what I do or has got as far as I have

Ah, changing your argument now, eh? First it was "EDM", now it's specifically trance music. The thread was about electronic music in general, not trance specifically. |
I always said Trance, I have already stated that edm has been sampled b4 never trance

Trance didn't even really exist before the mid-'90s so obviously it's impossible to find Ferry-style tracks from that era with booty lyrics or beats. . |
why add booty lyrics or beats? i guess you havent listened to any music i posted because this stuff you are posting is like nothing like my stuff at all

But before old-school dance/party music splintered off into Euro and Trance sects, it incorporated a shitload of both hip hop elements and elements that would later be incorporated into trance:. |
I disagree Trance is its own style & i believe grew another way

Or how about one that sounds suspiciously like trance - pure 4/4 beat, offbeat bassline, standard classical chord progression, and yet somehow manages to be full of rap lyrics AND hints of disco:. |
sounds more like techno 2 unlimited or cheesy euro than trance

And on the other side of the fence, more recent R&B/Hip-Hop with trance elements (actual mashup) |
how can you call any of the vids you posted Trance or hip hop or dare to even compare them to my stuff that stuff you posted sounds like something dj sammie might make

Lots of tracks back then even incorporated reggae elements... but I'll spare you those because they're even cheesier than the old school pre-euro dance.) |
I incorporate reggae as well but i stay away from the cheese again these songs are euro or techno not hip hop or trance imo

As for funk, well, house WAS funk in the beginning, and there was very little differentiation between trance and house in the early '90s. I was going say "Rhythm is a Dancer", but I'm sure you'll find something wrong with that example, so how about something more recent:
Honestly, listen to just about ANY dance music from the 1990s, almost every track is clearly influenced by disco, funk, or hip hop. Especially hip hop - rap music was such a crazy fad in the '90s that it was incorporated into almost everything. |
except for 1 style of music called Trance it went on its own path & did something different , the stuff you have posted is like dance/techno/euro from the late 80s early 90s (2 unlimited culture beat) but its not Trance. Trance has its own history that I believe starts with Kraftwerk

you see? its comments like these that you know will spark contreversy b/c you KNOW there are a lot of ppl on here that would disagree with your assumptions, especially since nobody knows you personally. |
the dutch music history comment is not a joke im actually very serious about that part, the Tiesto comment is funny because TA always make fun of him

I would go as far to say that your posts always seem to railway conversations revolving around your theories and opinions, while EVERYONE else tries to disprove them. The fact that you have no profile pic, no known attendance to either EDM or TA social events, and put an abundent amount of effert into keeping your real identity anonymous, can be very intimidating and quite annoying. That coupled with the fact that there a number of threads in the past few weeks that you have completely taken over with your comments. |
Everyone does try to disprove them, no one has succeed yet
Mystery always makes things more interesting If I did go to A event i wouldnt tell you guys Id just come I could be anyone dancing to the music having a bottle of water etc.
I told you im not intimadating at all
