LOL, who said that was an opinion on YOUR taste? That's just a sarcastic remark at how pretty much everyone dissing this mix thinks in terms of mixing.

And since you admitted that you don't know what a trainwreck actually is, why are you claiming that there are trainwrecks in this mix?

Did the lack of the throw you off?

yea but Danny bored the crap out of me when we saw him at WTB. i'll take a set of interesting tunes with a few slight transitional errors over a set of ploddy boring tech house mixed seamlessly any day.

maybe i'm biased because i love the vibe of a disco set or party and i know it's not easy to mix. when i saw Harvey he was trainwrecking like crazy but the tunes he was playing more than made up for it.

+1

People need to realize perfect mixing only applies to certain music

You know I didn't love the DH WTB set, either. That was not what I was talking about. I was just using him as an example, because he usually plays better sets and mixes seamlessly.

And I knew if you saw this, you'd jump on my ass...

Love this one, too. I still think that the Arc closing set is the best I've heard. That's more along the lines of what I was referring to. Maybe I'd need to re-listen again, but I can't remember any mixing issues in 10+ hours.

There were two or three that I can recall. But that's two or three in ten hours.

I really didn't think the mixing was all that bad in this either.

I have been following Tiesto since 99. I was immediately enthralled by what I still regard the best electronic CD ever compiled, Magik VI Live in Amsterdam. This CD is loaded with uplifting, energetic, blood moving tracks intricately mixed with angelic perfection. From that moment on, I could feel the magik flowing through my veins while listening to the music that Tijs carefully samples and produces. His creativity allows him to develop the concepts of songs that bring life and energy to people around the world.

so you only listen to recorded sets and what they play at your club. know what that means? shut the fuck up about it, you obviously know shit about the subject to be making any statements in the first place. And they answered your question, hes dropped mixes like this before, but since you don't know shit.

ahh whatever, why do i bother.
