i dont want to sound cocky or nothing, but his 2 nights in nyc were a lil better
in toronto imo he played too much of his own songs and his own bullshit mash-ups, plus he closed out with broken tonight

meh armin was good. Not the best I've seen him but I've seen him play at a very high level many a time.

Patterson wins DJ of the night closely followed by Tyas in the Drink. Main room Tyas wasn't as good as upstairs.

Surprise of the night - Blake Jarrell. Totally didn't like him last time...this time was brilliant. ate that crowd right up.

Here's my review:

The place was packed and I had just purchased my drink, when out of nowhwere this idiot bumps into me thereby spilling my drink and now my shirt is completely soaked with vodka. He apologizes and offers to buy me a new one but when the bartender asks for the cash he just leaves and I don't see him agiain for the rest of the night. So I pay for the drink and all these impatient people who are trying to place an order eventually knock it over the counter into the bartender's chest which sucked for her because she was furious. So, finally I get my drink and move on to the dancefloor.

As time goes by, the place becomes increasingly packed and I'm caught in a sardine can full of disgusting shirltess dudes, drugged out asians, and over anxious teens yelling out ARMIN!!! The hands go up in the air, excitement fills the atmosphere and thus begins the mayhem. Within a matter of minutes 2 fights break out and I'm caught in the middle. I try and break them apart but they're just focused on ripping each other's head off. At one point I'm caught at the recieving end of one of their punches which prompts me to push him to the ground as he is clearly drunk. They try and go at it again when annoyed spectators step in and break up the 6 assailants. I am now completely covered in Vodka.

I take a moment, relax, and proceed to the Drink for Simon Patterson and Sean Tyas. I really enjoyed their set, and didn't notice till later that I was surrounded by TAs.

I go back to the mainroom where Simon Patterson is tearing it up when some guy who is close to passing out pukes on me and is shortly carried out by the bouncer. I clean myself off, stay there a bit longer and decide to call it a night.

All in all; it was an ok night...

The music was good...loved Simon Patterson and Sean Tyas!!!
