However, the neurologist they interviewed said that it was a severe migraine which is capable of causing this reaction. The intense pain and nausea most people associate with migraines is only one type of migraine and there are actually a lot of other things that can happen to people. A very common symptom is acting like a fucking idiot and loss of motor control...I may be paraphrasing, but supposedly this happens without any warning most of the time, and can be dangerous if you're driving. But, it even sounds like a stroke because the people lucky enough to have some warning that they are about to go stupid usually know that it is about to happen because part of their body will start to go numb. |
Yeah when i have migraines I have a mini-stroke essentially... I lose all peripheral vision, my face, hands and tongue go numb, then that pinprick sensation (whats it called???).. I then lose all cognitive function, can't understand anything being said to me; I hear it, but it doesn't register... can't talk properly, lots of stuttering, and complete inability to stick a sentence together...
This usually only lasts an hour or two, and goes through stages- The sign for me (Usually migraines don't just 'come on', there's usually a signal of some kind) is seeing light in the centre of my vision for a bit, then the blindness sets in and the rest follows...
then pain for 10 hours.
FUN TIMES!
edit: Mine are fucked. Because of this i get annoyed at people when they complain of a 'migraine' when they're having a pussy headache. STFU AND HAVE A MINI STROKE THEN COME BACK AND COMPLAIN, EXCEPT YOU WON"T BE ABLE TO TALK SO YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO ANYWAY MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHAAA
