Your thoughts were exactly the same a that Dutch demolition expert. He also believed other buildings got demolished later.
When I look at some Airplane crash investigations on Discovery then sometimes I'm very impressed in what they were able to find as cause for accidents. Most of the times they explain it that well that there is very little space for other causes. In this case in my opinion there is space left. I think is't interesting, but at the same time realize far worse things happen like the earthquake in Pakistan and Kashmir where in 2005 74,000 people died.

My father is an engineer with a doctorate in concrete and several years of research in the subject. I never got deep into the subject, but he said that the planes would be more than adequate to cause the buildings collapse. Yet again, RIP all the people and my condolences to the families.

19 islamic terrorists crashed 4 planes, 3 into buildings. towers 1 & 2 collapsed due to many factors, primarily fire (fireproofing was weakened in initial explosion) and damage, where the building could no longer distribute the loads required to remain standing. The fire drastically reduced the strength of the steel in the building. The collapse of 1 &/or 2 took a huge chunk out of 7 and started a fire. Building 7 burned for approx. 7 hours and then collapsed, the primary reason being the unfought fires which caused thermal expansion and a primary column of the building gave way (forget which column) which caused a catastrophic failure. Flight 77 was crashed into the pentagon. When passengers on flight 93 learned what the hijackers had in store for them (the likely targets would have been the capitol or white house), they made an effort to take back the plane, and it crashed in a field. The ensuing investigation was the largest forensic investigation in the nation’s history, and included thousands of personnel from various private and public agencies.

That’s about it. All very simple and substantiated by the evidence. The fantastic theories that float around are nonsense peddled by people with brain injuries and poor hygiene.
