Good for a group of trance DJs to stand up and do something different. Don't diss a style of music that does not fit your tastes. Instead find a circle of DJs that do play what you like and support them.
The whole trance scene has turned into everyone bitching and putting down DJs that do not super serve your what you want to hear, instead of finding and praising the stuff you actually do like. |
So I cant diss Schiltz but you can stupid 2 min breakdowns with pianos, violins, harps, and fairy dust? Im quite partial to fairy dust and deeply offended!
No, variety is the spice of life. But listening to Schulz this year I dont think he's playing much trance, 75% of it sounds like nasty electro to me. And he's not alone. I dont think its doing anything for the more purist, underground and less electro orientated scene For me its a shame, I loved Schulz work until the last 18 months.
As for 'a group of trance DJs to stand up and do something different', what are they doing that is different? Armin, Schulz, Emery, SHM, etal are all playing a similar style. Bandwagon jumping is the phrase that springs to mind.
