False. I own Hot Creations records. They are lame. Everything is lame.

Consider it done. The bin also includes a pair of intentionally ironic oversized neon plastic sunglasses that look like they out of an 80's movie, a pair of (too) skinny jeans, and a ketamine jar large enough to put down an entire herd of wild horses.

Jokes aside though, I used to like Lovebirds' stuff way more.

OooO OooH I can answer this one:

What is, the list feels weird because its full of dj's who are 5 to 10 years past their prime?

How much did you wager Mark? Oh I see you bet it all, well that makes you our new Jeopardy champion!!

Or, how about, the list is full of DJs that are 5 - 10 year away from their prime?

I didnt even know some of the acts on there were dj's. I thought were just producers.

But back to my point, Richie Hawtin as number 2? On what grounds? Because M_nus is surging in popularity with its mnml sound? Because the M_Nus crew is bringing new sounds and technology to the forefront? I respect him a ton but the only way he's in the 2 spot in 2012 is because people saw a name they recognized and picked it.

And what has Villalobos done lately that got anyone excited?

Well Villalobos is still a great DJ and plays out all the time and released a pretty acclaimed LP this year on Perlon. Villalobos is one of a few DJs I'd go see any time.

As for Hawtin, this is my only comment:
