Sounds good. So while we're here, what genres would people like to see in the future? I've got a few planned:

A. One or more oldschool goa trance mixes. I could redo my old ones with the exact same tracklisting... but I honestly believe that I could do much better now. I listened to some of them recently and they're kinda painful to listen to. I can do better than that.
B. Another darkpsy mix, probably not so foresty this time and more straightforward darkpsy at ~150-155 bpm. Maybe with a more steady tempo this time instead of it being raised from 148 to 155 throughout the main part of the mix.
C. Mystery genre; with the thread starting post having a video of me announcing the tracklist in a mystery hat. Tracklist will also be posted immedietly, and the genre will be edited into the thread title a week after release.
D. Maybe a psychill/psyambient mix, I haven't heard many sets in this style where I've felt very happy about the flow they've used, so I don't know what I'd base it on. I also haven't really made a set of anything below 130bpm before so this one might be a while off.

All sets will include references to some kind've supernatural and or fantasy/irrelevent beings as well as the genre. I'm thinking the next darkpsy mix might be about cats.

Pick something that you want to mix, and don't just do it for the sake of making a mix.

I usually do it both for the sake of making one, and of creating something interesting and worth listening to for people I respect (whether that be my IRL friends or random members of this forum). I actually want to do all of those plans so that's not an issue. I could make a house music set (since that's easy to mix) for the sake of "learning djing skills" but that isn't what I'm doing, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I was mostly looking to generate discussion. I find it much harder to choose between what plan I want to do with my limited time than to "work out what to mix next". It's more about too many ideas than not enough. Or ultimately I'm just wondering for future reference, I might only implement any suggestions after the next 5 mixes.

The feasting people were Wood-elves, of course. These are not wicked folk. If they have a fault it is distrust of strangers. Though, their magic was strong, even in those days they were wary. They differed from the High Elves of the West, and were more dangerous and less wise. For the most part of them (together with their scattered relations in the hills and mountains) were descended from the ancient tribes that never went to Faerie in the West. There the Light-elves and the Deep-elves and the Sea-elves went and lived for ages, and grew fairer and wiser and more learned, and invented their magic and their cunning craft in the making of beautiful and marvelous things, before some came back into the Wide World. In the Wide World the Wood-elves lingered in the twilight of our Sun and Moon, but loved best the stars; and they wandered in the great forests that grew tall in lands that are now lost. They dwelt most often in the edges of the woods, from which they could escape at times ato hunt, or to ride and run over the open lands by moonlight 9r starlight; and after the coming of Men they took ever more and more to the gloaming and the dusk. Still elves they were and remain, and that is Good People.

Bump, I see this mix has been getting likes on soundcloud lately for some reason. Any posters who didn't listen originally have any comments? My next mix will be a goa trance mix to enter into the dj challenge for anyone who's interested.
