tiesto14, I just took a quick look at your story.
I'm really sorry for you but life goes on u know.

Calling her should the worst thing you could do because just hearing her voice could make your sadness higher and higher.

Keep her as a good memory and don't idealize her as you do! She isn't perfect, she proved it to you when she lies about what she thinks about you!

I suggest you forget her, relax, go out with your best friends, listen to Tiesto...
Don't stay at home, that's the best way to depress!!

Many ppl have lived such a story with a girl. I think, it's life and as Swamper said : look back at this thread in a year and see how far you've come.

so take care.

(sorry for my english... )

It won't matter how many ppl tell you similar things. Maybe this thread will get 100 more replies and you'r gonna read the same things ( trying to forget her, etc etc. ) for 100 more times... But I'm so sure, as I said, it won't matter. You still are gonna think about her all day, u still are gonna feel bad for some time.

I can only say one thing: It won't stay forever... It's only a matter of time...

some words of wisdom:

"My advice to you, is to start drinking heavily" - Bluto in Animal House

"Fuck it man, life goes on" - The Dude in The Big Lebowski

seriously though....that sucks man....but don't listen to fade to black....its so depressing. i agree with listening to some livesets...oh, if you've got an Xbox, buy or rent Mortal Kombat cause its sweet and you can beat the piss out of some girl characters on that game....yeah, not much else i can say, but hang in there man.

p.s. you're story makes me never wanna talk to another girl again cause it sucks getting hurt like that.

STOP MILKING YOUR DEVASTATION FOR ALL IT'S WORTH.

Prescription...You're on a DIET now:

No more Fade To Black
No Tom Waits
No Aerosmith ballads
No T.S. Eliot!
No depressing movies, particularly with Jodie Foster between 1979-1981 (ecch!)
No more repeating images of her smiling face in your mind over and over
No more rehearsing sad songs in your head while imagining the two of you together in the hazy gold sunlight
No sitting around making a feedback loop out of sentiments like "It's over, there's nothing left, what good is life now, what's the meaning of it all..." and my personal favorite "She'll understand once it's too late. She'll find the bleached bones of my abandoned carcass somewhere in the middle of some deserted plain *sniff* maybe then she'll know what she's done to me! *sniff* *BAWWWWW*"

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S GOOD AND DECENT, WAKE UP AND LOOK WHAT'S GOING ON!

Have you noticed how addictive it is to indulge in pity? To wallow in nostalgia and send yourself spiralling into total misery? I think this cycle-of-depression habit comes from TV drama culture and such.
Yes, grieving is necessary, but to do it all like this just to "get it out of your system" is like downing one drink after another really quickly so you'll be sober in time for work tommorrow. Doesn't work.

Let's set the record straight:
- "It's all over! I'm finished!" NO YOU'RE NOT. And it's all not over, it just won't involve Tania (is that her name?), but someone else. Soon enough. There are more chapters coming, with different characters.
- "How will I ever be happy again?" By choice, that's how. A friend of mine, poor guy, had to get some surgery down south and he'll probably never fuck again as long as he lives (and he's young). Is he miserable? No, he's happier than I am 'cause he deliberately chose to be happier.

Stock up on comedy tapes, get together with friends, keep yourself busy,

and don't EVER keep me up until 2:41 am with this nonsense again!

Good night.

Ding ding ding. I agree. I once had an entire year of feeeling like SHIT in general because of girls, now I say "Fuck it" and move on. No real point in wallowing in self pity, she is NOT worth it. And if you call her it's a sad/pathetic attempt at trying to somehow get her back and it only makes getting over her (like you're supposed to be doing) a lot WORSE. Don't call her. Do as Taz says, GO OUT, DO STUFF w friends, simple. Then she'll be out of your system and gone and you won't even think of her.

LOL, I feel u there dude... portuguese canadian girls can be pretty fucked up, but if you give them time, like say after 20, they eventually get a little nicer (that is if they aren't married yet )

If you just completely open up too early it doesn't leave anything to the imagination for the girl. I mean if she already knows everything way early on she would already get bored (however it would be a different story if you spend a lot of time with the girl and then open up slowly etc).

ok i understand what u mean.....however i think the MAIN reason i opened up so much to HER was because she opened up to me....

she was the one who said she wanted a long relationship, that she was falling in love with me, that she loved my eyes, my hands my thoughts...etc etc etc...

thats why it is so weir that out of the blue she changed her mind...

It has to be because it scared her.....no othere reason makes sense..but she started the entire thing...i jus followed....like a fool...

next time i will be smarter.
