im not saying you have a virus or spyware on your computer
what you have is a pretty common issue when you try to download something from a particular site and it coppies a 0kb file. I'm guessing you know that when something is downloaded it goes straight into your temp directory from which it is coppied to the location you requested that is why i asked you to clean it up so your computer can try to download it again.. also all your spyware blockers could cause this since they assume its spyware and they dont allow you to download the file, download accelerator software could also caugh this..
if none of this works try turning all your programs off and use another browser..in your case IE
