I can't do rollers when my hair is long, it just fucks up and doesn't look right.( or I'd just do the front.) I love rollers though, they're quick, simple and pretty useful.

now that i chopped off my hair, when i do the rollers, i totally have this shirley temple thing going on. it looks really cool and sort of playful. it's a nice change from the long, dark straight look.

oh yea and i'm going for another batch of highlights this weekend. more blonde coming

how do rollers work? do you put them in when your hair is wet or does it have to be dry?

i'm a completely inept retard when it comes to styling my hair, which is why i always wear it straight or throw it up in a ponytail. my hair is naturally wavy but i hate the way it looks when i let it air-dry... its just messy and frizzy and all over the place.

The Carruso Curl machine is just this little container that plugs in after you fill it with some water. Then it shoots steam out of this little spout that the curlers fit on perfectly. You let the roller/curler sit on it for a couple seconds and get filled with steam, and then u put the cap to the roller on the steam spout as you take a chunk of hair and just roll it up in the curler and clip the cap on it. You just take little chunks of your hair and roll each one up. Even when I had really long hair, it only took me about 10 minutes to do this. The curls come out awesome. I’m talking like panteine pro-v commercial shit. All bouncy and sexy.

I’ll do some before/after hair pics this weekend when I put the curlers in them.

I'm telling you...if you can pull off curly/wavy hair, and you're lazy when it comes to styling your hair, you need to get these.

i used to use a big curling iron and i loved the way soft curls looked in my hair... as long as they're not too tight or springy they look really good on me, but curling irons are a pain in the ass. and im seriously soooo sick of my hair. growing it out long is a pain in the ass and its got absolutely no body or life to it... but i don't wanna chop it off quite yet.

i wish we didn't live so far away from each other 'cause i'd just roll up to your house with a bottle of booze and some good tunes and force you to give me a hair makeover lesson.

Anyway...I’ve already used up all my vacation time for my 6 month mark, and I get another week’s worth of vacation come august. I have my nyc trip coming up next month, and I gotta go see my sister and new baby niece in august, which is when I get more vacation time. I promise I’ll do a short weekend trip to go see u…like a Friday-Sunday thing. Maybe in September or something. I can crash with u right?
