"an old friend just gave me this link to an old tape i recorded in 1997! quite funny .. i thought i would remember pretty much every tune but during the first 4 tracks i actually doubted it was mine anyway heres the link if you´re interested!"
the recording has an MC and crowd noise, but i'm sooo glad this got recorded. it was an awesome night depsite Basti's set being way too short!
just listened to this mix, nice, its pretty good.
the recording isnt 100%, but listening to it w/ a headphone isnt that bad at all!
ps: any ID on the first track? its a familiar one, just cant remember it ..

House was ooit house. Waar ongelovigen toch predikten “God made me funky, and I’m glad He blessed me this way”.

Check out my new mix from my sig, its bringing the funk, the summer and the chilled out vibe! (shameless self promotion )
If you like sets/music from Luke Fair, old Desyn Masiello, Jody Wisternoff, Lovebirds, Jimpster, Vince Watson, Funk D'Void, it's definitely for you

This was a real monster hit back in about 2008 when I was in South Africa very briefly visiting family and there was dozens of fairly rubbish remixes. The style is called Kwaito, been around since the 80's and sort of a 'dirty house' sound.
