yeah I just took a quick read through on Howard Forums as well and they seem to be expressing a fairly balanced opinion on the change. Although it does undercut some of the Koodo plans which is a good thing to see.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say that the looming Globalive has already started to have a small effect and they haven't even launched yet!

Can get a very encompassing plan (with options) for $45 in (not including taxes).

kris, you got a better deal. think about it, you have unlimited incoming. if u wanted that with the new plans, you'd have to pay $10 for it. the 17.50 epp plan is quite good.

telus clients: is anyone else having problems recieving or making calls with the telus network? i got people telling me to pick up my damn phone and when i check it i have 0 missed calls. also, making outbound calls are kind of lagging and sometimes dont go through. Anyone else having this problem? or am i an isolated case. Phone is a Samsung U510. What should i do...any help is appreciated.

Do some manual testing. Call your landline, and call from your landline.

Don't worry. I have the same plan as you.

The one we have is better even with the SAF & 911!

I guess this shouldn't come as a surprise.. what good is 3G and 4G/LTE in Canada if most consumers here aren't willing to pay for the services because they feel it's either unfordable or non-essential?
