anyways mine goes back about 7 years, when i started playing role playing games. We were playing Star Wars RPG so i picked up a SW novel and opened it on a random page and chose the first name i saw, which was Streen. From then on i use it wherever i can; its just my artistic alter ego. About 4 yrs ago a radio DJ i liked suggested that it should be spelled "stren" cause that's what i wanted it to be pronounced, so i dropped one "e".
Later on i've also met with a character in one of the Discworld novels called Stren, and learned that there is a company named stren making fishing stuff

about 7 years ago we were playing basketball with some friends and some guys i didnt know. i told them my name was rick and the one guy said "you are jones." he told me it was from a comic book or something so everyone started calling me jones as a joke and then it just stuck. when i signed up for an aol name "jones" was not available and jonze234 was listed as an alternative. ive gotten rid of the account but i usually use jonze234 when i sign up for stuff. so i guess im a product of AOL (hides in shame)
