To Starsearcher or anyone else including diabolic, you know what, I think my girls got it right. Setting up a meet at a familiar surrounding to you, would give you and this girl time to get a feel LOL I mean, get to talk with each other.
See for all you know this new girl might be a psycho beeatch or she might be too much for you.
But IMO meeting someone in a social spot is a safe place if your gonna get shot down/or the thing don't work out....and if she's ok, you contine your meet later over coffee or whateva.
To me, if something doesn't feel right with her, then your in a great place to meet others and maybe keep her as an acquaintance or a lead (LOL in business it's called keeping good contacts) which you can follow-up with later cuz you never know how HOT her own friends might be. There's also a plus to all this--->ur giving her/other guys ops too.
Also, IMO.....sometimes the quiet sweet friends are worth way more than the super hot ones---and they may even be  an interesting and memorable freak in bed too LOL!
BTW, I was speaking to my girl Pat n she suggested a quicker version of her first advise. I's like it. She says when you see a hot girl, walk up, say the hi! stuff, and give her a piece of paper with your e-mail and the words "Poker Nite $$$" written underneath it. Your supposed to tell her u think she's amazin looking and that you'd like to invite her to a social game where she can come with friends.
My girl figures you can email her that she'd be really interesting at your poker nite. Tell her you think she's amazin looking and that you need her help, as a distraction, for your next win in a poker game (that's if she doesn't know how to play) or she can join in and make some cash$$.
I think that's a win win situation.
You invite your buds and/or gal friends (that may make her more comfortable to come by) and you'll all have a blast. Just my opin.
Personally, I can't think of a guy or girl that will feel uncomfortable playing or watching a game where $ is involved.
I'm not talking about breaking the bank here, just a nice little pot (say a max or limit of $5-$10 from player)for some lucky winner to get at the end of the nite. It's a good excuse to get laundry money or empty out all that heavy change ya got. Hell...I'd be shouting that the winner's gotta get us losers some coffee (cheer our egos up) after the game.
