To stand there with your feet glued to the floor, i might as well stay home and listen to music on my stereo.

Oh, and all you Guv lovers out there.....dont keep saying "you dont have to go", im well aware, and you will definately not see me there again. The point of this thread is to open everybody's eyes in here and remind them that we have better options in TO than this sorry excuse for a nightclub.

i think the only way to stop overcrowding on saturday nights is that the guvernment should no longer play hip hop on friday nights, or any nights. if thats impossible, then they shouldnt play electronica in the guvernment, but in the kool haus instead. i say this because 40% of the population at guv on saturday nights consists of people who just show up for fun,but have no fukn clue wat i sgoing on or wat the night is all about.... thats wat pisses me off the most. as i said before, one guy on saturday night was wearing 50 cent on his chicago white sox jersey..

In response to Jeff- True true, you know what though. It's not just the amount of people it's the people themselves. If everyone out there was there to dance and have fun and not pull "how cool you can be" stunts or "how cracked out you can be" stunts it would be a lot better. This is targeted mainly at the guys who like to take up lots of space and do nothing but stare at you rudely if you bump into them. If everyone dances together it negates this problem. But too many people go to Guv just to get f#&$ed up and it ruins it for the rest of us. If you really want to get like that why not stay home? It doesn't really make a difference to you now does it? I hate rude/anti social/cracked out disregard for the people around you stuff that often goes on in clubs.

There were quite a few cool groups of people there who did want to dance and have a good time, they just werent able to from being so confined to a one square foot area. And im NOT over exagerating.

That sucks... I dunno I haven't been to Guv in a while... The reviews I get from every party though are that it's overcrowded and I won't stick around long for any packed to the gils event. I don't care where it is.

Okay so I didn't show up for Sasha and why you might ask...

I've had ENOUGH of the GUV... Decadence did it for me. It's really too bad because this place has great potential, but apparently the management has a poor idea of what a party is and should be about.. Unfortunately like a lot of you say, and I DO agree that this kind of crap is bringing the EDM scene down.

So I'll leave it at that... Hope to see you out at Boa or System

I thought Decadence was great and there was sooooooo much room at KH I don't remember who was playing in the main room but who ccares? All the big names were at KH

Crystal Method was in the Guv. The Guv was packed.

There is such a simple solution to this: headliners in the Kool Haus, Mark O in the Guv. Can someone affiliated with Guv tell me why they don't do this? It really doesn't make any sense to me.

i found the bouncers very nice, some even said excuse me as they walk threw, you have to think they deal with 1000s of people a lot of them all messed up at these events and maybe sometimes they aren't always happy! im not defending the ones that are bitchy but they're not all like that!!!!

Um, im sure they are checking for more then just weapons and that happens at a lot of places you go!
