well normally by now i would be pumped up yelling out j00f rocks everywhere but not this year unfortunately...i have a 7 day field trip for uni this weekend to buchan and we come back sunday arvo/evening so i will be missing out on my j00f for this year however i am sure i will manage to have a 'buchan' good time mapping the limestones and snowy river volcanics....

Is the main room Vodaphone arena?

If by main room you mean the Godskitcken room, then no. The Rod Laver Arena and Vodaphone arena arn't being used. (Its not big enough to justify that)

The Godskitchen room is in the indoor tennis courts which are under the cafe, when you walk between vodaphone and RLA its just off that underpass. Which is a good arena in itself, should do nicely.

Some of the function rooms (Yarra, Park, Skyline and River) are being used too. The cafe is being used also. But both RLA and Vodaphone are closed, as there won't be nearly enough people to justify them being used.

not true...event is more than big enough to justify for vodafone to be used..the problem being though that the siderooms in voadfone are shite and 2 sections of melb park would then have to be hired out.blah blah blah...

Has there ever been an event that has had vodaphone arena open? What was it like?

How many people are expected at GK?

Having been there before is it going to be cold? I hate being cold at events, makes my mood go down.

GK main arena can fit up to 4,500 ppl and Vodafone is opened for big events like Two Tribes and it a wicked arena !!
as for u not liking the cold .. wear something ?? + it'll be so damn hot in there u wouldnt care about the wheather outside..
