WoW was the first word to come out of my mouth! We headed downtown a bit earlier than usual because I knew it would be insane. newr and I stood in line for about an hour and were amongst the fresh inside the KH. Thanks to Samhouse we found Charlies!!! I knew our TA's were most likely still in line so we decided to hit the GUV until the crowd picked up. Got my fix of Red Bull and took another run up to see if our crew had shown up. Awesome to finally put some faces to names E2EK1EL, Loca, Loconet, Tordan, tha_broad. Sorry we didn't stay long the music was calling.....
Nic Fanciulli really warmed up the place, smiles all around and the vibe was alive (could I be in the GUV?) Next Sander... What can I say... I LOVE HIM! He gave me goosebumps. Soon after we headed over to KH for Ferry's set. Met up with sweetie pie Maxtuh and friend, I'm sorry I can't remember your name What a wikkid mix of tunes, threw down the classics. DIGITAL PUNK got the whole place kicking. NU NRG took over and kept rockin it. Definately a MUST see again.
Of course what would the night have been without the love of my life. Thanks for partyin with me newr, I love you!
MaxQ - you have the greatest smile, hope to party with ya more often.
Santacruz & Friends - You guys are so much fun
To everyone else I met, that I didn't mention, you're the coolest - See you on the dancefloor
Pissed that I couldn't make it out to MTL for Cream, glad that our TOTA's represented and had an unbelievable weekend, but in the end I had a blast!

What a party!
We got into the Guv about 10:40 and Skylark was still bangin out some nice house beats.
I think Sander jumped on the decks about 11:10. I had been waiting for Sander since April 9th, so I was more than ready. His set started out nice and progressive, and he was raising the tempo as each half hour passed. I looked at my watch around 1am, and he was REALLY bringing it, and I could tell he was going to close out hard, and he did! Just as some others said, Song 2, Smack My Bitch Up, many others I knew but have all been erased from main memory.
Deep Dish, as they have been for the last year, are just KILLING every deck they touch! Wow...they had me dancing through their whole set! The moved into tech-house and quicky into techno around 3:30-4am, and I was just hoping Deko-ze would get into KH soon, because the trance was annoying me.
I decided to make my way into the Orange Room to see what Greg Gow was aspinning, and he was spinning techno as well. Moving into the KH for Deko-ze's set, Infusion was very techy, but their live performance was quite remarkable.
Dekoz-e came on around 6:30 I think, and he started bangin out some nice house beats. I was pretty tired, so I left around 7:30, but damn...SICK PARTY!!

1st off, thanks to Arturo & Nu-NRG for the guest list hookups. Without it, I don't think I would've been able to attend. John- I gave all my reduced spots to the NY kids, so they didn't go to waste.
Thought the Guv looked great from the outside. Too bad I only noticed the Circus Orange guys jumping on trampolines & throwing fire AFTER I'd gotten in past guest list. I'm not sure if they were visible once on the grounds or not, but those guys are always fun to watch.
Once inside, cherished the last few moments of space and cool air before the masses were to arrive. Thought the DJ booth in the KH was a little too high up for my liking, but other than that the place looked good. Headed into Guv to catch last few mins of Fanciuli, then Sander took over. Thought it was super to have the DJ booth in front of the stage- all the NYTA's camped out right behind Sander. Nice setup in there indeed. Enjoyed his DVD-DJ'ing along with the music, then headed into Charlie's at 12:15 to catch Aaron dropping those bombs. Wasn't up for dancing tho- just enjoying the A/C and seats to sit in, while I caught up w/DJ Mute and tried to keep him from drifting into unconsciousness from jetlag.
At 1:30, headed into KH to catch Ferry. Talk about !! Heard SO many good tunes!! That "Dark Side of the Moon" track OWNS, and he also dropped a sick ass techno track that totally sounded like a Mauro production at 2:45 but no one could ID it. But man, was it HOT!!!
3:40- Nu-NRG go on. I swear, every time I see them, I am torn between 'being responsible' and taking pictures, or cutting loose & dancing up a storm. Having been told by Arturo that they've been playing 'Take your Air' on their N. American dates ever since that last time they were here, I went thru great efforts to get my camcorder inside. Since 2 people at the last Viva appearance recorded video of that song, but both cut off BEFORE the breakdown, I was determined to get it right. This was gonna be a 'responsible' night. After taking video clips throughout their set, my arm was getting really tired, and time was running out. Finally asked Vince if he would tape the song for me, should it come on, so I could dance a little. Alas, that time never came.... At least I got "THe Eternal" and "For An Angel" recorded. (Does anyone know how to transfer this to computer?) After they were done, went to do more meet & greet with them in the hallway, as condensation dripped on Guiseppi's head.
After that buzzkill, my feet were protesting- wearing flip flops the night b4 was a bad idea, and it was taking its toll that night. Didn't have the energy to see a minute of Deep Dish even. Somehow made it to my car and crawled into bed.
Glad to hear everyone had fun- hope all u outta towners come back soon.
And Arturo- the next time Nu-NRG comes to TO, make sure they leave enough time to come over for a BBQ- Guiseppi would enjoy that very much.
