Reuters have now said the death toll is 59,186 but this is bound to change, they are finding bodies by the minute....Not a nice way to end the year with so much loss...
Just heard also that Richard Attenborough (The dinosaur curator from Jurrasic park 1) has been affected by the tsunamis. His 14 year old grandaughter has died and his daughter is missing in Phuket.

yeah and they think the figures will double up if all the epedemics starts, so we can just hope they get as much help as possible, as fast as it just can be done..... :\

Yeah, terrible deal. Hear they're using a front end loader to scoop 'em off of the beach in Sri Lanka. A tsunami is particularly devasting to them, since a heavy dew will even produce dozens of casualties normally.
