Thanks for the support and hopefully more to come. In order to continue to bring in DJ's that you want to here we do need support on a regular basis. Dont get me wrong and think that the expectation is to be a regular every week (would be nice!) If you come to hear JOOF or Johan and then go to other clubs to see import talent the next weeks thats good, but remember to support your local talent aswell. The trick here is to support clubs that play EDM since its the minority in the city. If the EDM crowd doesnt support these clubs than how do you expect the club to support EDM. It's still a business... As for bringing in the competetive nature between clubs im not expecting to hurt any other clubs that do EDM... The expectation is to make the scene stronger since the majority play urban. Some of the other clubs should take this to note, as Matt mentioned.

As for the dress code... Its club attire with style... Dont come dressed like a bum... Running shoes are acceptable as long as they are club styled/oriented and not athletic trainers (I think thats fairly clear). My expectation is that if you go out to a club, its to hear music and dance and not to play volley ball.

If you dont agree please feel free to email the club as we are listening.

Smart casual dress code is the best code.
As long as trainers are smart looking and you are smart looking that should be the way to run it. Alot of clubs in europe are run that way. You could wear sporty trainers as long as you looked good.

At the end of the day you go out to meet people and its nice to to meet nice looking people.

And so WHO will determine if a certain shoe is either "club styled/oriented-ish and not athletic trainer-ish"??? The bouncer?...I think that THAT is quite the grey area and I would hate having to show up & like..."Sorry...everything is fine except your shoes"...I've had that happen before

Now these look "athletic-trainers" to me & so you couldn't wear those to Republik but some bouncer guy will say no but somebody else at that club may say yes...thats what I mean by a "grey area"...Its like they'll have to have a list of ALL the shoes that are ok

i don't think that dress code will really be an issue .. i mean , expect nothing different from what the current crop of clubs considers as being 'club-worthy' wear ..

anything otherwise would just drive customers away which wouldn't make sense ..

or perhaps help us improve our wardrobes .. stylish doesn't always mean looking posh or gino, etc..

Honestly the bouncers shouldn't really care about what your shoes look like besides the ladies coz you know how much they love shoes
.........unless you are wearing safey boots or really worn out shoes.
