Amazing night!!!

Got into Kool Haus at 10:45 or so, initially meeting up with a few groups of friends. Plans didn't work out, so went in alone. Saw a few familiar faces from TA, and introduced myself. Met tons of TA's from then on. A few peoples names i remember: Goodnet (thanks for introducing me to so many people!!!!), Playa247, The Highroller, Vertigo (hope you had a great birthday!), tatgirl, dancingqueen, Rabbitjoker, amb_ and tons more... Too many names to remember. Music was great, Nick Warren was awesome, Nu NRG ROCKED the house, although I wish they coulda played Free Fall! Still great! Armin was amazing, played lots of great tunes, but was pretty tired at that point. Left around 6:30. Thanks a lot to everyone and hope you all had a great time! =)

Tim

wow thanks for the video....really helps to have that when people ask why this shit is so good...thanks for that...and that song is really something.

i really wish Cox could come alone. He really was something else.

Wasn't feeling AVB, and definatley wasn't feeling the human pinball game of coatcheck. "go to guv" " go to KH" "back to guv" "back to KH" etc. etc.....that was fun.

Every bartender was incredibly nice last night.. Maybe the bouncers should be bartenders to see what real work is like and have all the bartenders be bouncers.....

thank you Carl Cox.

get to KH, they say its full, go to the Orange room...after trying to find coat check in orange room, a bouncer directs us and we are first in line. turn around and BAM theres like 40 people behind us.

when I left, no lineup at all.

Both links lead to the same video. I only put 2 links up just incase one server crashes.

The song is: Max Graham - Gone

AMAZING track.

The past 24 hours have been the best ever.

I got a new computer, had an absolute blast at Decadence, and now I have my internet connection up and running at my place in Toronto! All I need now is some sex and I'm good!

I Was actually overall impressed with the whole event. A little heavy on the Ginos, but that's to be expected. It's the guv! Oh well. Got in I think just after 11:00pm some time. My buddy forgot his ID so I was on my own for the first 30 minutes or so. Never found my roommate, but that's ok.

I've never danced that much before. My highlight of the night was actually Nick Warren. What a awesome DJ. He even smiled for my camera!

I wanted so bad to stick around for Van Buuren but my right foot went gimpy so I had to leave. That was only 4am.
Oh well. Much needed night out. Good times had all round.

I've been wanting to see Carl Cox live for at least five years now and finally got the opportunity. Mind you Armin and Nick Warren at the same event. This was a 10/10 event for me from the very start.

Got there around 11pm with loca & loconet. Place was filling up nicely. My first time seeing Remy and he was doing a pretty decent job. Nick warren was wayyy better than last time. Only caught about 10 minutes of nu nrg before heading to guv for Carl. Enjoyed Mark Lewis's set until he showed up. Carl came on about half an hour late but got right down to business. All I can say is the next 2.5 hours I spent in guv was just pure techno bliss. Went back to KH around 6am expecting Armin to be laying down some lovey dovey trancey stuff. If that were the case I would have run back to guv but no, it was trance with techno sauce mixed in!! Just the way I like it. Needless to say I danced my ass off until it was all over.

Met some TOTAs for the first time. Forgive me if I left anyone out. Jem_Hadar, Kati, TFT-Productions, Trancechaos, Karim (my neck hurts from having to look up ) and last but not least Jayx1 (enjoyed our lil convo on the balcony.) Glad to meet you all. As always it was a blast hanging out with the TOTAs.

I was glad they had setup that walkway outside so it was much easier getting around. Girl dangling from the ceiling... quite entertaining There was still plenty of room to dance and walk around, I didn't feel like a sardine last night. Only thing that wasn’t good was the sweat rain.

Lastly, one funny/freaky incident from the end of the night. As Armin had his encore track going he proceeded to put records back into his box by the side of the stage. Suddenly some guy walks up and starts saying something to him. Unfortunately, I did not hear what he was saying but judging from Armin's expression it wasn't something nice. Next he proceeds to tug at Armin's record box and then his socks!! At this point Armin jumps back with a confused look on his face and goes back to the decks. Now this guy is grabbing Armin's jacket beside the record box. So I head over to guy and start patting him on the shoulders and beckoned him not to do it. Luckily he gave up and walked away. Dood looked seriously agitated though. Where the fuck were the bouncers then? My non-TA friend Puru was with me when this happened but did anyone else see this? Know who that guys was? Anywayz... I'm not gonna let stupid things like that put a damper on one of the best clubbing nights of my life.

My official review.

The night started off wicked, cause my friend's dad smoked us the most chronic "honey" oil. It's kinda like hash oil.

Then we climb into the limo and get our drink on. Here's me double fisting and falling off the seat.

When I got up adjust myself and continue drinking, I managed to sneak a photo in of my beautiful housemate stef:

From left to right: Pat, John, Mike, Mike (yes confusing I know), Me.

Mikes head, and the girls Emily, Stef and Sheena

Soon, the glasses became a hassle. Gotta do it up ghetto fabulous style.

Mickey and bottle of bambino later, I'm toast.

Safe to say I over did it with the predrink. Those who were lucky enough to meet me when I first walked in (around quarter to 1) have met intoxicated karim.

We walked in to this fine sight.

Mindspin (on TOTA), Justin, Laura, and me

NuNRG

Emily, Nema, Stef, Ryan (mindspin), and me.

Yeah my shirt was cool, but his shirt fucking rocked!!

Jem_Harder, Karen (?), big_charm

Karen, showing off her signed shirt.

Jamie, Katy, me and Larissa

Armin!!

Alright, now the text review. I started off the night a little overboard. This is my last party for a little while (at least till exams finish, or maybe ferry). So I wanted to do it up large last night, hence the numerous sessions, and starting off the night SO bombed.

But yeah, I had a blast, simply because of all the cool new people I met. The only people I knew before going to this party from TA was Alex (ubertrancer) and any of the TOTA's that came to the James Zabiela dinner, so I met alot of you last night for the first time, definately too many to list.

I honestly don't even remember walking into the club (dahhhh), but I do remember nick warren's set. And it was groovin. I was too busy trying to be a social butterfly to really bust out a move and begin to dance at this point. So I waited till Nu NRG came on and started to get hyped for the rest of the nights music. NU NRG rocked.

Armin came on and set his pace to be that of a scorcher. Sure enough, it was. Loved it. Relentless trance that just had me moving non stop. Track of the night belongs to Max Graham - Gone (hence the reason it is the featured track in the video, cause in the non dubbed video, the footage is actually from that tracks breakdown, only the bass is muffled on the camera's mic, hence I redubbed it and chopped it around). ARMIN! ARMIN! ARMIN!

Ventured off into the orange room the odd time to bust a move to the breaks. When I walked in one time, Atomic Hooligan was laying it down. PROPS!!

I have to say it was great meeting Ryan (mindspin). Small world that I know and have partied with his friends, yet we never knew eachother. A new member of the crew, that's 4 sure.

Karim
