Just did a little scan of the definition and goals of the union. Seeing many things I like. I'm a socialist, so almost per definition I think the text is too much to the right.
One of our parliament guys did the search: the full text has about 20 times 'Competion' in it, but about 80 times 'Social'. So tat sounds good.
I think I'd go for it if I were French; can't say for sure.
But if you guys can force the text a tiny little bit to the left, I'd be grateful. I see political chaos happen sooner then that though.

I'm just wondering, are those chips in fish and chips real chips or just fries? Or does it vary?

They are UK chips (as in not crisps) always, never fries.

You only get that shit in burger king and so on, though they taste ok with that they wouldn't go with fish and are genrally not to the same standard.

I have said all along that on European matters, when voting there should be some kind of test you have to do before you vote - those demonstrating a complete lack of knowledge on what they are voting for should have their votes thrown in the bin!

Why only on European matters? As I have advocated again and again, democracy is lacking in these days of mass hysteria. What we really need is technocracy, or failing that, way longer election periods.

Yeah, people would go mad if they did that tho, so just avoid refferrendums on european matters!
