Most "whores" are fake. I prefer the gentle curved, classy, educated, young female that can have a conversation about complex topics rather than how "amazing they feel when they are around me because they feel God running through their vanes" (Note, after two tabs of E). And if this venue can bring them out to events with the music that I love, HEY, I think we're onto something.

Down the road, I hope these people bring real talent like Eddie Amador, Danny Tenaglia, Paolo Mojo, Sultan, Paul Woolford, Nic Fanciulli, Steve Lawler, Hernan Cattaneo....and if they do, I don't think they'll be charging more than $35 - $50 per ticket.

I hope to see all of you there. Drinks for everyone if I can recognize you somehow. And, I'll put some pressure on some peeps to make sure Orange Vibe does give all patrons free tickets to see Danny Howells in SD on Friday night. Hell if they don't do it, I'll do it! Danny is by far in my top 5 of favorite DJ's.

P.S. Deep Dish on April 13th was Sharam only, so it wasn't even nearly as expensive as Armin would probably be charging.

Im glad that the bit of flaming in this thread has died down, which I was partly responible for with my comment about "fake ass people". Didnt mean to make it nasty!

What it really boils down to is! We all love trance/house music and the scene that goes along with it because it transends all boarders, races, religions and social status. It doesnt matter if your clubing in LA, Sao Paolo, Paris, Sydney or Hong Kong, broke as hell or ballin out of control, we're all tranceaddicts we love the music and see it as a lifestyle not just entertainment!!!!

Newport Beach is actually pretty dirty and filthy. Roads are all cracked. Hollywood has better streets. How old is this town? Beach smells nasty. Were they able to find the lifeguards? If you know someone in the city, fix the town first before inviting.

I have been around where tentation club is. It is next to the airport, really a bad neigborhood. With all the talk, I would have guessed it was at a better part of Newport Beach. Couldn't you BIG boys afford it?

plus Dave T- Dont u work for Spundae? because i think what they are far worse than OC! they were selling tickets at $60 for a 3000+ capacity. Sounds like spundae maybe the greedy one. that is $180,000 in cover charge let alone the alcohol sales!!!!!!!!!!

can we just stop this BS and focus on having fun with AVB in oc and la!

the fuss is that we have had bigger lineups and smaller cover charge! i have seen markus and armin twice at 4th&B and NEITHER time did it ever exceed $40 at the door.

I help Spundae out, but I _DO NOT GET PAID_ by Spundae. Thus, I can speak my mind still.

And I have not mentioned any promoters here. I am simply talking about the event and everything as a whole. Honestly, I dunno who has complete control over ticket costs. Because it varies from club to club and promoter to promoter. That's why I have not mentioned any promoter or club names, nor have blamed anyone directly.

$60 for just AvB or just ATB = ludicrous. $60 for both of them, while a little high, isn't ludicrous. And it was $25-$40 for a couple of months. In fact, presales sold out at one point. They just opened up more at $60. I imagine both DJs are crazy expensive in LA on a weekend night. Especially at a venue with such a high capacity (which is often a factor in a DJs booking fee). To the point where there's probably no club in SF big enough to be able to afford both acts in one night on a Saturday night.
